Review

The Emergenza festival - Worlds largest battle of the bands. We'd first like to thank our boy Justin for getting a bunch of people to come out on this wintry night, and of course thank everyone else who came out. It was like a coming out party! But with rock music.

We were informed once we arrived that 2 of the bands had cancelled and the kind lady from Emergenza asked us if we would want to play another show at midnight. We're like hells yeah, but we had to clear it with our super sick drummer first, who caught what Brad was serving up a week before. He said yes, and it was on.

Let me just say Noel loves taking pictures. I'm only going to say it once I'm not going to keep repeating it like the actual picture process was repeated over and over again.

Pete and Repete walk into a Bar, Pete Leaves. who's left? Repeat...
But it was awesome of Noel to take pictures. Thanks. batteries upside down cake.

For our first show we had a planned set list which flew by. Dave and Jeff had to take over some of Brad's vocal lines due to his lingering cold. can you say excuse. CUP blew. I mean, CUP blew away the competition with their stentorian vocals and dynamic dynamics. Everybody was having a good time, and that was awesome to see. We had a lot of first timers out, and Jeff lareau was asked about this, he said: "cough, cough." which is usually his response to just about everything. He told us about his Doctor visit the other day, and that story ended with the same coughing quote.

The bartenders had been pouring strong drinks all night, this became apparent when Jarstead said "who's ready to get butt-f#cked by Rock n' Roll." And the crowd responded accordingly. The second show was more of a party like atmosphere. With free shirt and CD give-a-ways, and people showing their boobs. I wish just once a girl would show her boobs though. The internet is just so 2-D, and I would like to get my real world fix.

lastly I would like to apologize to my mortal enemy for not going to the express cafe or whatever it was called, i feel like a real lamo. the dali lamo. In theaters now
