Russ's last show with CUP. David will be back for the next one, better make the most of it.
Special thanks to Lyndsey Terchin for hooking us up with the show & to Matt Guidera for taking the photography.
Let me just say, parking was much easier here then at Red Line Tap. Everyone was pleased with that. The band all grabbed their drinks and went to the courtyard to play basketball. This was the only excercise most of us got all week. most of us got all weak. I told Russ' Angela 12 times. Hey let me get those photos. but I don't think she likes me. Because otherwise, I'd have pictures of us shootin' some b-ball outside of the school when a couple of dudes they were up to no gude, started making trouble at phyllis' musical Inn. But that de-escalated quickly. because Lareau showed up. We call him the peace maker. His name was the pacemaker because he walks at an astonishing speed, but people thought we were saying peace instead of pace.
Nevertheless, we took the stage at around 11PM with Rusty. He is quoted as saying, "this Peavy tracer is the best guitar I've ever played on, if it had a hole I'd

Harstead drank himself a long island ice tea, but never got to the point where he would maunder. Not like that one night that left chunks of corn in Angela's front yard. We were buzzed and ready to play. The Pure Prairie League played a nice set. And then we went on. There was that one guy who kept going in and out retrieving his girlfriend to show her "cool" parts in our show. that made everyone laugh. plus he bought a CD. In the middle of our show Jeff Lareau thought to himself, "jeez, that girl out there looks just like Jen, it can't be; it must be her sister." But it wasn't. It was her and they lived happily ever after.
